We are always interested in hearing from talented individuals who would like to take part. Who can be a consignor? Anyone who has a talent for making handcrafted goods of almost any description can participate. What sort of crafts can be brought in? We will accept almost anything of a handcrafted nature, provided it is made to a high standard. We try to avoid duplication that would have one consignor's goods competing directly with anothers'. How much does it cost? There is a one time registration/administration fee of $25.00 plus GST to cover the cost of maintaining account records. There is also a monthly fee of $50 plus GST and 20% commission to cover operating expenses. Thus, for about $2 per day, your goods will be displayed for sale 8 hours per day, 7 days per week, in an attractive retail setting in one of the prime locations for crafts in Canada, where they will be promoted by a knowledgeable and dedicated sales staff. Who sets the selling price? You establish exactly how much it is that you want to receive whenever one of your items is sold. We add 20% commission to defray overhead costs such as mortgage, heat, hydro, wages, advertising, etc. This commission also allows us to conduct sales without affecting the amount that you will receive for your product. How long a term do I have to commit to? The minimum consignment period is six months.  After this period, it is on a month to month basis. How do I get paid when my good sell? All sales are processed through our computer sales register and are credited to your account. Everything that is sold for each consignor is recorded each day, so that you can view your current listing of all sales at any time. At the end of each month your sales are deposited directly into your bank account for the full amount you are owed. Are there any other benefits? Yes, each consignor is entitled to a 10% discount on any regular priced item purchased in the store.  We are also currently working on our website to provide Online Shopping, which we are hoping will be available Spring 2008 for all our vendors that wish to participate.
